Titel: JWDA Table Lamp
Designer: Jonas Wagell
For this special illustration, Stockholm designer Jonas Wagell has swiped through his old and new scribbles for the JWDA lamps range designed for Menu and selected some of his favourite sketches and form studies for the Cologne Design Gallery.
With the help of light yellow and beige tones and the skillful use of textures, Wagell manages to transform his busy repeated line drawings into graphic volumes and to depict in an exciting composition the delicate glass domes, bases made of concrete, marble or brass and details such as the dimmer wheel. With this drawing, Wagell allows the viewer to understand the process of creation of the luminaire series.
With its warm yellow and grey tones and at the same time its industrial character, it blends in well with many different living interiors.
